PrimePave Systems
Usage of concrete in road construction is quite advantageous – high abrasion resistance, good grip and longevity makes it ideal material, if not for the shrinkage joints that cause damage to vehicles, fatigue to drivers and are subject to arris spalling, leading to surface deterioration. Traditionally, concrete pavements are built with little or no reinforcement and therefore are quite brittle and prone to damage.

Advantages
Special cements and high density, low permeability concrete surface will have much longer lifespan than asphalt, resulting in significant lifetime savings for the authorities and community.
High ductility of PrimePave allows for lower thickness than traditional construction, resulting in immediate cost savings and reduced CO2 emissions.
Less joints means less damage to road and cars as well as better driving conditions. However, PrimePave till may have some cracks spaced far apart, which can be easily closed later.
Application
PrimePave for high-traffic, high-load roads is built at a thickness of 19 cm (7 1/2 inches) with high dosage rate of steel fibers and is available with up to 100 meters (110 yards) long jointless sections.
PrimePave is also available as roller compacted concrete topping. PrimePave RCC is completely jointless.
PrimePave Key Features
- Strength 70MPa
- Fatigue limit 90%
- Shrinkage: full control via cement type, additional cementitious materials, mix design and steel fibers at high dosage rate to achieve full matrix saturation.
EKO-EKO approach
Concrete production accounts for 5 per cent of global CO2 production. The slender PrimePave construction saves the planet and is good value, too. That is our EKO-EKO Economy-Ecology philosophy.
